Sr. Katharina Maria Pies

Sr. Katharina Maria Pies, CSR is a Sister of the Redeemer and serves as a chaplain in the Holy Redeemer Health Care System including at Holy Redeemer St. Joseph Manor and at Holy Redeemer Homes for People with intellectual disabilities. As part of her Clinical Pastoral Education, she focused on those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Working in Pastoral Care comes naturally to Sr. Katharina Maria. Being a healing presence and getting to know people through listening to their stories is to focus of her ministry. Sr. Katharina Maria grew up in Cologne, Germany. One of her favorite quotes is "Christ has no body here on earth but yours" by St. Teresa of Avila.
