Holy Redeemer Food Pantry and Healthy Families Program

At Holy Redeemer, since 1982 and still today, we are deeply committed to serving those in need across Cape May County.

Today, we remain in the Cape May County community with two life-changing programs: Holy Redeemer Food Pantry and the Healthy Families Program. These ministries are vital to the well-being of local families, and they depend on generous donors like you.

  • The Holy Redeemer Food Pantry in Swainton, NJ, was founded in 1989 by Sr. Mary Ann McDonough. It has been a crucial resource in alleviating distress for families and seniors experiencing food insecurity to receive essential food supplies and provide sustenance during times of temporary or prolonged hardship.
  • The Healthy Families Program, since 1996, has been a cornerstone of support for new and expectant parents in our community, offering in-home education and resources to families who may be at risk of child abuse or neglect. Providing in-home education and support helps young parents navigate the challenges of their new and often unknown journey. By promoting healthy child development and strong parenting skills, the program is making a profound difference in Cape May County.
