About John Lawton Beight, MD
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. John L. Beight is a highly trained and experienced orthopaedic surgeon providing comprehensive care to patients at OSRA Orthopaedics.
In addition to his practice duties, Dr. Beight also holds hospital appointments at Holy Redeemer Hospital, where he is a member of the Infection Control Committee and the Medical Records Committee. Previously, Dr. Beight served as an Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Dr. Beight graduated cum laude with his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He then completed a surgical internship and residency training in Orthpaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dedicated to furthering his knowledge, Dr. Beight completed a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Pennsylvania Hospital with Dr. Richard Rothman & Dr. Robert Booth.
Throughout his orthopaedic training and experience, Dr. Beight's work has appeared in numerous publications, abstracts and presentations regarding advances in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
