About Lisa Sortino-Sowa, CRNP

Lisa Sowa provides support, education, and treatment to women with breast cancer to help them heal and thrive. As a certified registered nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in comprehensive breast health, she offers cancer care from screening to survivorship with compassion and dignity. She also cares for high-risk breast patients, women with benign breast disease, and those with acute breast pain and infection.

Lisa’s prior experience includes critical care nursing and staffing a free breast and cervical screening program for underserved patients in Trenton. She also worked as a breast care nurse navigator and developed a free breast health program for uninsured/underinsured patients in Bucks County that quickly evolved into a breast clinic, which she ran for 10 years. She began coordinating patient care with Redeemer Health breast care providers while in these roles. After seeing the surgeons and staff work as a dedicated team, deeply committed to their patients, Lisa was convinced to join the Redeemer Health team.

Lisa earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from La Salle University. She is certified in clinical breast examination and has attended a multi-day survivorship course to help her better understand her patients’ needs.
